Randolph Farm
A family farm on 1,400 regeneratively managed acres in Owen County, Kentucky.
Our Mission
To improve the soil so it provides for future generations.
We do this by raising nutritious beef that has superior taste and texture. We pay close attention to all aspects of agriculture. We use innovative grazing techniques to ensure that our cattle receive the nutrition they need, but also complete nature’s feedback loop and give the soil what it needs. Our herd has been developed to produce the highest quality taste and texture meat that has the nutrition components that can only be found in multi-species grazing systems. Our animals are treated with respect and care. “Better Grass, Better Meat™” is not just a slogan; it is what we do, and it is what our soil health will allow future generations to do.
Who We Are
We are a small family-based farm operating on 1,400 acres in Owen County, Kentucky. We have been involved with grass-fed and finished beef for many years and understand the best practices to create a nutritious product that has the taste and texture that consumers want. Our commitment to the future begins with using generative agriculture techniques — they grow and improve the soil, and our herd selection improves our herds, so the future is bright. We are committed to operating in harmony with the world while creating excellent grass-finished beef that offers all the nutrition that meat should.
REGENERATIVELY FARMED
Our practices enrich soil, build diverse pastures, and create a self-sustaining ecosystem that benefits our animals and the environment.
PROVEN GENETICS
Prestigious Angus bloodlines—including Wye, Pathfinder, and Gardiner—bred for exceptional marbling and flavor that rivals grain-finished beef.
HUMANELY RAISED
Raised on open pastures with care, our animals live naturally—free to roam, forage, and grow without unnecessary interventions.
How We Farm
At Randolph Farm, we take a holistic approach to raising high-quality products. Our cattle graze on diverse warm- and cool-season grasses, with free-choice access to minerals, kelp meal, and protein tubs to support optimal health. Our laying hens are rotationally grazed on pasture, producing nutrient-rich eggs with deep golden yolks. By combining careful genetic selection with sustainable grazing and low-stress handling, we ensure strong, resilient livestock and healthier eggs — without relying on unnecessary antibiotics or interventions.
About Us
Our Story
Nestled across 1,400 acres in the rolling hills of Owenton, Kentucky, Randolph Farm is more than just a place where we raise livestock—it is a thriving ecosystem built on a deep respect for nature. Our journey is rooted in an unwavering commitment to regenerative agriculture, driven by the belief that true quality begins from the ground up. By focusing intently on soil health and cultivating biodiverse pastures of warm- and cool-season grasses, we work in harmony with the land rather than against it.
This deep-rooted philosophy, captured in our promise of Better Grass, Better Meat™, guides our holistic approach to animal welfare. Our cattle—carefully developed from prestigious Angus bloodlines including Octoraro, Wye, Pathfinder, and Gardiner—are raised using low-stress handling and sustainable grazing techniques to ensure exceptional marbling and flavor. Sharing these open pastures are our free-roaming laying hens, which forage naturally to produce nutrient-dense eggs with deep, golden yolks.
By giving every animal the freedom to live and grow naturally, supported by free-choice access to vital minerals, kelp, and protein, we maintain optimal health without the need for unnecessary antibiotics or interventions.
Ultimately, we are dedicated to bridging the gap between ethical farming and the food on your family’s table.
We take immense pride in raising food the right way, never cutting corners when it comes to land stewardship or the nutritional value of our harvest. When you choose our pasture-raised beef or farm-fresh eggs, you aren’t just enjoying a premium product with quality you can taste; you are supporting a sustainable future and partnering with a farm that cares deeply about the health of the earth, the animals, and your family.
